Environmental Charter
We spent four years co-developing a comprehensive Environmental Charter in partnership with Lhasa Mountain School, approved by Chinese authorities and fully implemented on the Tibetan side of Mount Everest.
The aim of this project is not only to clean the mountain, but above all, to prevent new waste from being brought up in the first place.
The Charter focuses on four key areas of action
We are now working on adapting this Charter specifically for Nepal, to extend its positive impact to both sides of Everest.
