One team for Everest

It all began in Tibet, with a group of dedicated individuals who cared deeply for the Mountain. By joining forces, they successfully co-created a waste management system that, later on, inspired communities on the Nepalese side of Everest.

Together, we now form the Clean Everest 360° initiative:

One Mountain. Two Countries. One Team.

The project brings together local governments, NGOs, and other regional stakeholders, who contribute their expertise and knowledge on local specificity to ensure its implementation regionally.

The overall coordination of the initiative is led by a dedicated Office team.

Marion spent most of her life in Tibet, where she was involved in a variety of projects: immersing herself in Tibetan Buddhism, supporting social enterprise initiatives, leading tours in the Himalayas, and more. One thing has always guided her: a deep passion for preserving the beauty of nature and ancestral traditions.

Amandine Famy

Project Coordinator

Amandine spent the past five years in Asia, seizing every opportunity to discover the Himalayas, its mountains, its people, and their culture. Passionate about experiencing adventures in a responsible way, she works as a sustainable tourism consultant and naturally joined the project.
